Snow & MUCC

  • Listening to: DIO ~distraught overlord~ - last dance
  • Watching: girugamesh - crying rain PV
  • Drinking: Tea

So, it's about 3 p.m. today and we're almost in the middle of October, and it's.. Snowing?! OK, it was in today's forecast, but seeing snow this early is still weird. Not that I'm complaining.

But anyways. Back to business.

Last week MUCC came to the neighborhood and, naturally, as I happen to like MUCC I had purchased tickets for their concert in Tavastia, Helsinki. And I must say it was a pretty awesome show (not that I would have expected anything less). There had been some discussion earlier about the set list consisting mostly of songs from their newest album release Kyuutai, but I can't say I would have minded, as it's the one of their releases I'm most familiar with. Ageha, FUZZ, hanabi and Sora to ito were my favorites of the songs performed. The upcoming single release Freesia was also quite amazing performed live, and a great way to end the show.

I had a pretty excellent view over the stage and MUCC, as I was in the third row from the stage, on Miya's side. It felt quite surreal, seeing the guys so close up - YUKKE throwing flirtatious smiles on the crowd amongst his bass-playing, Tatsuro interpreting the lyrics with a great amount of emotion, Miya playing his guitar like there would be nothing else left in the entire universe and SATOchi drumming vividly and at times standing up from behind the drums to cheer the crowd.

It seems like SATOchi enjoyed the show as well: [link]

(Still haven't been able to decide which one of your pictures I'll draw, but I'm getting to it! 8'D )

Hi, thank you for the fave ^^

You have a very nice gallery as well :D

Most of my fave jrockers in there xD Aki <3

And good to know MUCC was great in Finland too ;)
:icongyllene:
You're most welcome (I really like your drawing of Aoi, even though I took him for Toshiya when I first saw the thumbnail x'D).
8D Yes, I happened to notice you seem to like SID.. Thanks for the compliment.

Oh, MUCC was just amazing, as usual.. ^^ Where did you see them perform? In Denmark?

Haha, yeah I know, Aoi doesn't look like himself in that photo shoot at all xD But I love it anyway... Maybe because it's so different.

Ahem, yeah, I adore SID xD Aki in particular. Though if I had to choose, I'd take the GazettE over them any day xD

I saw MUCC in Denmark yes. They were absolutely amazing. We were like 100 people there but instead of being a sucky concert with poor attendance it was AMAZING and very intimate. So great <3
:icongyllene:
I totally agree. And besides I've never seen that shoot, so I'm not familiar with it (in case you have any links I'd be more than happy to see them, though :D).

8'DD Great. I'm maybe not that big of a fan myself, but I like their music. I'm personally also more familiar with the GazettE, even though I like some artists more than them. (And atm I'm.. not satisfied with the outcome of V-ROCK festival '09 - they didn't show a single glimpse of Gaze's performance, even though the band was the main act of tonight! I mean.. Come on! That's slightly unfair.)

:o So an intimate concert.. I think the crowd in Finland was about five to seven times bigger, even though the show wasn't sold out here either. But glad I'm for you that the show was great there. :D

Oh! It's his 40 page special in Arena37 from sometime this year. I've found the scans on Livejournal... probably at the GazettE Daily community... If you're a member in there?

Mou, Where did you see clips from the show? I usually stalk themo n a daily basis but I've been so busy with my studies lately, I don't have time anymore...
I'm letting my boys down *cries*. Even though I still stalk them, and SID (Mainly Mao and Aki) more than anyone else xD What other bands do you listen to then?

I'm not surprised - most bands never even stop in Denmark because we're so few fans here. There was a few hundred for Dir en Grey and that's the largest crowd we've managed so far xD So I usually go to Germany or Sweden for concerts :/
